Your privacy is the foundation of the sacred space we aim to create. We are committed to being transparent about our practices and handling your personal data with the utmost care and respect.

To provide the deeply personalized experience of Orí Grove, we collect the following types of information:

A. Information You Provide Directly:

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and, optionally, your first and last name. This is managed through our secure authentication partner, Clerk.
• Onboarding Reflections: The answers you provide to our initial onboarding questions.
• Journal Entries: All content you create within the app, including your Dream Journal entries, Ancestral Reflections, and reflections on Oracle readings.
• Oracle Questions: The specific questions you ask the Well of Wisdom.

B. Information Processed for App Functionality:

• Your Soul's Blueprint: The Archetype, Element, and personalized narrative text that is revealed by our system based on your onboarding answers.
• Personalized Insights: The "Soul's Echo" dream reflections and the "Deeper Questions" for the Ancestral Stream, which are revealed by our system in response to your journal entries.

C. Information from Third-Party Services:

• Subscription Status: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. We receive information about your subscription status but do not collect or handle your financial or payment information. This is handled securely by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the core functionality of the Orí Grove experience. We do not sell your personal data.

• To Reveal Your Soul's Blueprint: We send your onboarding reflections to our secure interpretive service (Google LLC). This allows the Scribe to listen to your story, identify the Archetype and Element that resonate with your spirit, and craft your unique narrative.
• To Deepen Your Journey: When you request a "Soul's Echo" or "Deeper Questions," we send your corresponding journal entries to our interpretive service (Google LLC). This allows the Scribe to reflect upon your words and reveal the gentle insights or new questions that will help guide you further on your path.
• To Operate the App: Your account information and journal entries are stored securely to allow you to access your personal history and use the app's features.
• To Manage Your Subscription: We use your subscription status from RevenueCat to determine which features are available to you.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal and sensitive user data. We only share information with the following trusted third-party service providers who are essential for the app's operation:

• Authentication: Clerk
• Insight & Interpretive Services: Google LLC
• Subscription Management: RevenueCat, Inc.
• Database & Hosting: DigitalOcean, LLC and Vercel Inc.

These providers are contractually obligated to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we have specified.

We take the security of your data very seriously. All personal and sensitive user data is transmitted using modern cryptography (HTTPS). We implement appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect your information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.

You are in control of your data.

• Data Retention: We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active.
• Account Deletion: You have the right to delete your account at any time. This is a permanent action that will erase all of your personal data from our systems. You can initiate account deletion through the following method:
  1. In-App: By navigating to the "Settings" screen within the Orí Grove app.

When you request to delete your account, we will permanently delete all associated user data from our database and initiate a deletion request with our third-party service providers. We may need to retain certain data for a limited period for legitimate reasons, such as regulatory compliance.

Orí Grove is not intended for use by children under the age of 16.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy in the app and on our Site.
